I am not buying for chicas this year, (huge savings), I will only be spending just under 5 bills, for family, and friends, so I get out cheap!! Talked to a buddy tonight, who will have over 10,000 out of his pocket, just for gifts! Thought about a poll, but the question is, HOW MUCH WILL YOU SPEND FOR CHRISTMAS?

My over/under bet is 1000. Who is over/ who is under???

Christmas?? Is that coming up again?

The last Christmas I had was in 2004. The ex moved out 3 weeks later. She got married in St. Thomas yesterday.

Maybe 2007 will be better.

What am I spending? Zilch.

as my sis died 3 1/2 yrs ago, to the day that we celebrate JESUS!! This holiday is not important to me, anymore, as my sister is no longer around, but all I asked was what do we spend, not whether we have loved and have lost....that would be another good topic, as I could expound on that!!

YO Zig:

I know where you are coming from with the death of my mother and last remaining family on Dec. 15th a few years ago.

I respect the holiday and it's true meaning although it has been somewhat politically bashed and changed over the last decade. Sad.

I did manage to spend $4.78 on a larger size cat munchies for Shitass, my cat. Not to mention the ten-pack of mini vodkas for me tonight.

As during most Christmas eves I shall light a fire and reflect on just why my miserable ass is still around. Luck of the draw I suppose.

I do wish the best in health and spirit for all members of CRT.

I am buying your stuff by tues, in order for you to celebrate, on xmas eve, so email me quickly!!

Guess my total went from 479.82 to 505.23....no problema

Zippy: come on now somewhere under that conehead there must be a heart. Giftgiving is only a physical manifestation and public statement of the love you feel for a person. Now you not going to tell me you do not participate in this ancient ritual.

Got the family to agree that we don't have to buy presents for each other anymore, since we can buy what we need and don't need gifts. Then got petitioned to buy a new computer for my sister's teenage rugrat. Sadly, it is better to get finacially hosed by a couple of spoiled brats then trying to figure out what to buy a dozen relatives. Oh well, Merry Christmas!!!

I think Im pretty Lucky this year. I just have to handle my nieces & nephews -children. Everyone else owes me money so they're out of luck. :D

As for what I'm getting myself. Not a damb thing until I get out of debt and save up some cash-down for a condo.

I figure I should be clear around July for my Birthday so I will have to make it a trip to a new destination. Either BRAZIL or COLOMBIA, I can't decide yet.
