Welcome to the Gentlemen Services section of www.costaricaticas.com . Here you will find as a single male traveler many of the things you can expect to do, find or experience when traveling to this wonderful little country. Here we will touch on the highlights, but for a full description of services, including discussions about each and every one of these items please go to our free discussion and information board, that is linked throughout the site.

    Massage parlors

In Costa Rica you can visit a wide variety of massage parlors throughout the central valley. Although prostitution in Costa Rica is legal, pimping is not. Here you will find quality ladies that will release the stress of your journey. There are many places to choose from with a full variety of facilities and services available. Your best bet in own is Zona Blue. For more information about the various places, visit our Massage parlor section in our free discussion board.

    Gentlemen's clubs or strip Clubs!

Many of these facilities are on the up and up and you will enjoy yourself with quality ladies of various looks and styles. They are located throughout the central valley with a wide degree of pricing, talent and available ladies. Be careful, don't get ripped off by taxi drivers or by padded bills and you should be ok... As with all of our topics detailed info is available inside. Your best bets in town are Kamur, Pantera Rosa & Tangio India all a short drive from the Hotel Del Rey.

    Hotels & Resorts

A wide variety of choices can be found throughout Costa Rica for all of your needs. Our Hotel discussion area has in depth information on all of your choices of accommodations with a wide variety of amenities depending on the area for which you are looking to stay. Your best bet in town is now the world famous Hotel Presidente, though there are many quality establishments throughout the city and country.

    Restaurants

Most people do not go to Costa Rica for the dining experience. There are many places to choose from the small "soda's" a local cafeteria type experience to the larger more upscale locations with some truly fine dining just a short drive away out of the city. Our CRT restaurant reviewer has complete reviews on many of the area and beach side dining venues. In town, the News Café is a don't miss, along with Costa del Sol restaurant and Pizzeria. There are also some wonderful outdoor cafes for people watching while enjoying a fine meal. Come inside for review of all the area dining hot spots.

Duty Free Purchasing Entering the Country!

The only country I have ever been to where you can make your Duty Free purchases when entering the country. Here you can pick up wine, liquor, cigarettes, real Cuban cigars along with other various items, to enjoy on your visit in Costa Rica. The airport has locations throughout along with a duty free shop in the baggage claim area. Make sure you check with your local customs person with regards to limits upon return to wherever you are going.

    Cigars

Cuban Cigars are legal in Costa Rica and can be obtained in the duty free shop on the way in. Beware of fakes or phonies all over the streets of San Jose, but there are some fine local shops that make a great product. Best deal in the country is going to the factory in Puriscal and buying in bulk...and even having privately labeled... cigars at around .25 cents EACH! Depending on Quantity and if they like you or not. .

    Shoe Shines & Haircuts!

Though clothing is casual around the central valley, many where good shoes at night. Throughout town, local area kids will try to hustle you for a shoe shine. They all seem to be good kids and will do a real decent shoe shine for a fraction of the cost in the states. If you need a shine give them a shot, as they are trying to make a buck... Would not want to go to San Jose without a haircut first as a top notch stylist isn't on the agenda anywhere. You might want to try out Bikinis where they have given the term "A Cut & a Blow a new meaning".

    Golf

There are a couple of fine golf courses in the San Jose area that offer challenging tracks along with a full array of rentals, lessons etc for the golf enthusiasts. Make sure you start early in the green season or you wont be hitting many golf balls in the afternoon. Complete listing of golf courses and amenities can be found inside the discussion board.

    Gyms

Many of you, who work out at home, don't go on vacation and want to see the gym until you return. There are a couple of top quality gyms in the central valley area along with smaller ones just outside of town in San Pedro. You can usually get a week long or daily pass at most of these. If you must sweat it out the next day, you can always find a place to do it.

    Fishing

We have all heard the term, I am going to Costa Rica to go fishing, but of course never leave the mountains. Honestly though some of the finest offshore bill fishing in the world is located in the coastal towns on both the Caribbean and Atlantic sides of the country. Fishing will vary by season with migrations patterns depending on the weather. For day trips Jaco is close enough to enjoy a full day of fishing along with a full night in the valley. If you have never done it give it a try it will be an experience to remember. Check out our free photo gallery where some of our VIP members have real shots of their catches in Jaco & Quepos.

White Water Rafting, Canopy & ATV Tours!

All of these tours are world famous in Costa Rica with many available for day trips from the various hotels. Each is catered to a specific taste but getting out of the city off to the rain forest is something every individual visiting Costa Rica should do. Rafting is better suited to the person with a strong back, and healthy heart, while the canopy and ATV tours can be enjoyed by all ages.

    Volcano & Hot Springs Tours!

Going up to the Volcano's or the hot springs is another great adventure outside of the city. Many fine resorts exhaust close to the active volcano Arenal, as I would not recommend a day trip to this gorgeous destination. The drive is long and draining. Take a couple of days to enjoy all of what this adventure has to offer.

Vegas Style Casino Gambling & Sports Books

You will not find the Mirage in San Jose but you will find a good number of fine honest casinos with all your favorite games of chance. Black jack, craps, rummy, tute, slot machines among others are the local games of choice. Some sports books have closed but you can still bet your favorite sports teams and horses in the Morazon in San Jose. For a full detail of the action in town make sure to check out our gaming section on the discussion board.

    Beaches

Jaco beach world famous for surfing is just one of the spots to go for a dip on the Pacific side of the country. Up and down the coast various degrees of surfing are available, with calmer waters for swimming the further south that you go. Be careful as you will not find any life guards on duty anywhere, but some of the most gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean get be found in Costa Rica.

These are just a brief description of many of the things available to you. We hope you will take the time to visit the No 1. Discussion board for information on Costa Rica. Our fine members will be happy to answer many of your questions and we know once you have reviewed all the data available, you will be much better prepared to enjoy your vacation experience in this great little country Costa Rica.
