Post subject:  observations from the news cafe
Why is it that every tico you see walking around has
one of those small fanny packs or back pack or whatever
the hell you call them on? I mean what exactly are these
guys carrying in them? Why is it when it rains all the people with umbrellas walk under the store front covers?
Shouldn't they be out in the street? They should leave
that area for mongers like me that don't want to spend
3000 colones for something I'm just going to throw
away when I leave. Why is it the gulch shoe shine boy
dresses better than me? He's wearing a suit and tie
now. What have you observed?

Maybe they are paid by the guy on the corner hawking umbrellas :shock: to make sure you get wet :( and buy one of his umbrellas :lol: :lol: :lol:

There are certain situations in life where logic doesn't apply Lolligagger, you have just scratched the surface in CR. When traveling to Costa Rica it's advised that you leave your left-brain at home, hope this helps. :D

From the News Cafe I have noticed ... chicas walking with mommy always hold her arm ... many of them in small groups will walk by several times just to be stared at. They love it! ... The average girl that passes by the cafe is not dressed well enough to go inside .... If you give any change to the beggars you have practicly married the bastard ... it only rains when I forgot my umbrella.
